yeah, i've had a few sites just take my code. i'm pretty used to it by now, but it's definitely really disheartening whenever it happens. sorry to hear it's happening to you too.

this new searchbar isn't that bad, i didn't even know my v2 site inspired a decent amount of people. i think i should re-make it from scratch as a template, though it was inspired by sadgrl

cant say how effective it is but if you scroll down the /terms page they have DMCA policy, it looks like quite a bit of work though. hope you can get stuff sorted out :[

thing is, i'm unsure if i should go ahead and DMCA, as the account in question (daislyte) hasn't been active since july 2025, and it just has my old HTML code, including my quiz results (which aren't my original creations, and all have copyrighted content created by other people). seems that daislyte.neocities.org only exists as some type of scraper, but i don't know what kind.
