It is cute! It makes me think of 80's style manga strips like Don't Cry, Tanaka-kun by Hiroshi Tanaka or Chiisana Koi no Monogatari by Chikako Mitsuhashi.

Nah it slaps. When I was younger I didn't understand the appeal of it, now that I'm older I have a real appreciation for designs that are a) extremely distinctive (nothing else looks quite like CSC and you can spot it a mile away) and b) expressive while being simple.
