not to be a downer, but i've had the absolute worst 3 days at work. a couple of years ago some traumatic stuff had made me quit wanting to be a nurse, and they now happened AGAIN while i'm a carer. i had thought a small cozy elderly home would be a nice work environment, turns out it's rampant with mistakes and bitter coworkers and inadequate managers.
idk how helpful this would be but what I would recommend is doing something absolutely unrelated to your work. also helps if that something is caring directly for YOU and not related to anyone else. I haven't been a nurse or carer but this is from being in multiple 'caring' professions. remind yourself that you exist just as yourself. I'm sorry this stuff is happening for you
i'm having a bad time trying to cope with it all. any suggestion? (i've already tried crying all day but that just gave me a headache lol)
