I now have a splash page. I'll get all of links fixed later on tonight, but right now the sidebar is all good (and might consider putting a "HEAVY LOAD" warning on it).

For some browsers, (especially on some of my pages -- definitely easel) you should refresh the page a few times after loading, depending on your internet speed and browser, just to make sure that everything is loaded properly.
Seriously, my page loads like 30MB+ on load. Sorry, not sorry!

Update: most of that was from one or two 10MB+ gifs. I optimized them.
