i figured out (not really i just followed a template) how to deploy to neocities from my desktop using github OMG im so happy.... website will be down for a bit while it uploads everything

@chronodove it does make it easier for ppl who code their sites on other programs and don't use neocities built in code editor! every time i finished coding or updating something i had to go to neocities and copy paste the code of their respective files PLUS upload any new files. which is such a pain to do when there's a lot of stuff to update/upload and i easily lose track of things.

but now with this: instead of copy-pasting/uploading everything myself, github desktop detects the files that have changed / are new and uploads it for me with a single push of a button. its a game changer for me

if you guys are starting off with github make sure you set up an ssh key!!!! it's such a pain but very important

@hatsu EVENTUALLY! i want to be able to make different themes you can easily switch to. i spent A LOT of time on the 'flower' theme so that will take a bit before i finish the 'space' one!
