TPM(Trusted Platform Module) is a dedicated hardware chip or firmware-based module that provides secure cryptographic functions such as key generation, secure storage for encryption keys, device attestation, and measured boot integrity checks. For linux users(or anyone) who's against age verification, simply disable TPM at your bios. If TPM can't be disabled, then it's time to buy a new device.
Read more about TPM here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trusted_Platform_Module . There are some funny hackers that manually removed the chip itself. I might have to do the same if I could find the exact TPM chip.
