Okay slobs era AVGN is truly bad after all. 1) you can tell he didn't write the scripts or play the games, so the vids have this weird spliced-together vibe 2) vids are too long by 50%; I have a 10-minute attention span for YouTube vids I actually have to look at 3) the skits suck (they always have let's be honest) as do the guest stars

Monster Madness around that time was particularly bad. One of his writers plagiarized a website's review of 28 Days Later and James had to come out an apologize openly. The newer videos are a step ahead from those days but I'll always have a soft spot for Early - Mid AVGN content. Slobs era was so bad I made old rants about how the AVGN should retire back when I still called the Incel Perspective.
