What a difficult occupation! | People are defined by their pain. You're seeking new, painful experiences, but you don't like pain. Maybe it's the definition you're after.

I worry the wrong message has come across -- I love pain, just as much as I love every pleasant and gentle thing the world has to offer. monotony and boredom and stagnation are the things that bother me most, and my restlessness pushes me toward the things that make me better just as much as the things that make me worse. thank you for reading :)

thank you for such kind wordsπI am so glad to hear that it resonates with others
sending you lots of love. i'm a pharm tech also (retail/community instead of hospital), but even there it's a heavy job a lot of the time. i've cried over losing patients before. it's fucking hard. we don't cmpound anymore but. it has to be insanely stressful, as you say. i understand.
I can only imagine how hard retail is, many of my colleagues have worked in retail in the past and consider it harder than this. I hope you can get enough rest and reprieve from your harder days <3
