every image i uploaded to the gallery page pre-this update has not been through a lossless compression thing and some of the files are like 2mb. i think i probably should go back and optimize those but i've asked before and apparently the page doesn't load really slow like i thought it would? someone tell me if it's affecting performance, i'll do it if yes but it will be. such a hassle

also (sorry idrk where else to ask this) is it ok to ask how you made the emotes appear so clear in the collections? whenever i try to put them on my site they appear really small and pixelated ;w;;

I used a very simple trick, make a new CSS rule for your nuko images that contains "image-rendering: pixelated;" this will make the image appear as sharp pixels instead ! It's normal if they appear smaller than me, the original image is 20x20 pixels but I display them at 200% size so they look bigger and are easier to preview.

hey um. does marquee being deprecated mean it's not gonna be supported anymore in the future, or is it just that people aren't recommended to use it? if i still want to, say, have a bunch of blinkies marquee across the page should i use marquee or the alternative css animation method?

according to MDN: The HTML element is deprecated and its use is strongly discouraged. If you must create the effect of scrolling text or continuous elements, consider using CSS animations with CSS transforms instead of elements to smoothly animate content.

When a feature is depracated that means it's not longer supported and shouldn't be used. It will still work in the name of backwards compatibility with old or abandoned websites. You can still use it but theoritecally it could be deleted any day from now on. So it's better to use css animations
