do you have any recommendations for bulk downloading videos from an index page, i.e cobalt but pasting a YT's channel link, then auto getting the link for all videos, and downloading them? or something to that effect?

I am able to do just that by using Jdownloader2 with ffmpeg installed, although it takes a bit of setup for the app to be usable. (First downloading the ad-free version and then doing a bunch of advanced settings stuff.)

everytime ive used jdownloader2, ive been turned off by its extreme resource footprint. it basically monopolises my CPU so it slows the computer way down

a lot of the info on the windows 10/11 install guide for the sims 1 was horribly outdated. dead links, talking about a no-cd crack that got dmca'd months ago, that kind of thing. it's fixed now.

i'd hoped to get that last edit in before the day ticked over, but oh well. all of the 15 essentials pages are going to have narration tracks, it's just a matter of audio production at this stage.
