actually more like $70. but im wondering if someone sent a corrupt streetpass. it started with streetpass mii plaza complaining it couldn't retrieve spotpass data. ideky cos spotpass is like not used anymore

ok, it seems like it was a 1-time thing. it just kicked me out of tomodachi life when i let it sit while i made dinner. i backed up my sd card and it hasnt happened again since.

This looks like a lot of fun, I'd really love to do it but I'm worried about messing it up. What would you say is the risk with jailbreaking a 3DS? like could I accidently mess up the whole system with 1 wrong move?

the risk is 0. unless you straight up lie about your system revision number to the tutorial, you can't brick your system this way. nintendo doesn't really care anymore either so the chance of a rogue update sliding in and bricking your hack is pretty low too.

all i did rn was fix the markup in schrödinger's name so the ö displays properly. best i can do without a computer
