having followed my own advice now, I can safely say that resampling to 8 kHz is too much compression. 11 kHz is better. (also, don't look at the code. it's old and i havent bothered to update it)

omg i cant wait for the sims 1 site <3 since it's an older game i hope you won't need to upgrade for a while but yeah neither of these sites have a whole lot of storage for filehosters
