Honestly, part of me is tempted to just take the site offline until the whole thing dies down. Restoring everything would be simple enough, but I'll play it by ear and see how I feel about it later.

admittedly, i heard it from @catarinha first that there was an inexplicable hit spike. I looked into it a little further and around the same time on the Activity page people had been complaining about the same thing. i'm not sure it's NFTs part II but I don't want my original visuals used as crypto tokens of any kind. (it probably is some variation on NFT tho)
