you try to get a freelance voice-acting or web dev gig, the market is saturated by ai. you look for a new car, there's an ai powered automatic parking system. you want to park your car downtown, the metres all need smartphone apps with ai integration. do i need to keep going or do you understand?

you get a book off goodreads, it was written by ai. you read the news, it was written by ai. you watch a public tv documentary about latino history, the voices and visual elements are ai. you want to take a shower in rural america, your water is brown and cold because all the good water went to ai generation. you want to do anything anymore, you cant avoid ai. im tired bruh, im just so fucking tired

I work with documentation and I review a lot of people's stuff and I'm like, this doesn't even follow the most basic accessibility structure. everyone at my department got 6 hours of training, and now they just use AI and don't even check it. "co-pilot said it was accessible" Cool but you didn't put any headings here and that's the literal most basic thing that you could do for accessibility.

I'm so angry on their behalf. by doing this at your job, you're proving the point they want to make. why are you allowing them to take your job? use your brain!! otherwise I'm going to get stuck here with AI coworkers because I'm the only one validating anything.
