i'm so glad you like my site <3 the reason i turned tipping off is my paypal account is in my really old deadname and i don't want people to know what it is just by clicking on something. Ko-fi takes a service charge, but it hides my deadname from people.
really enjoyed reading these! ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭ definitely makes me wanna revisit some childhood games.
the ai trainers were descending on my site like vultures. Once i took the gallery down, bandwidth use went down from 750 MB to 40 MB almost immediately.
you know... if i can write 4 more songs like this, i'll have an album's worth of purely electronic music. (sure, there's a mellotron, but that's still concatenative synthesis)
i guess i'm talking about retrogaming again today. added a blurb about console emulation to the hShop page
I hate how we can't link to stuff! :( Trying to keep linking to a minimum these days. I suspect it's because of google's tracking cookies. Don't know how those influence web-crawlers, but I noticed the (obviously botted) site viewcounts decrease when I deleted all my non-neocities links.
since i deleted my gallery section for all time, i migrated the walk journal link from the About page to the Homepage.
also i drew a new picture for gremlin's ko-fi banner, hopefully to draw new attention to it.
your anger is 1000000% valid. idk the exact situation on the ground. to act: shelter of any kind (trans ppl, homeless, DV victims), volunteering is already a very good start. if you know anyone near you at highest risk of being kidnapped (latin american), reach out to them, if it's possible make a network of safety, so no one goes missing. you may already be doing all of this - just some suggestions
Very interesting stuff going on with those NES classics. Good read! It's interesting how they went so ham on the anti-piracy measures in games like Earthbound, but didn't do more with the anti-emulation stuff.
i should probably have at that button wall backlog huh...
