so... i've noticed the past few weeks that some of my newest followers are fellow countrymen (or french speakers). well, that finally motivated me to translate the website into my native tongue (this was planned for months now lol) but some words & sentences i've already translated just don't have the same punch lmao

@sugarstarluxe: "Repo" is short of "repository", which in itself is a space in GitHub where users put in their files. You can think of as something similar to how we upload our files into Neocities here. :)

my fellow neighbours who also happen to be webring webmasters! how much time do you give newly added members to add the widget? i personally give them a week before removing them from the rotation, but i feel like i need to adjust that.

i have only been a webring webmaster for like a few days but a week sounds reasonable! i'd still check a few more times after that to see if they added it and add them back to the rotation but yeah

another update: my portfolio was made through my school account and since im not in school anymore it also got wiped out, im replacing it with the archive.org link for now until i make a new one :P

catbox sucks so bad i had to switch off of it. if you want a solid file hosting site filegarden is really good, stays up like all the time. but i really just recommend hosting the images on your site in the end.

honestly, i got the borders from https://randombullshitgo.neocities.org . I copied the code and didn't bother downloading the images cuz i was being lazy LMAO. besides that, ive never used Catbox for anything else besides hosting images on my dreamwidth blog. rip my blog btw
