Disclaimer: Reviews of Amiga games may take longer than reviews of games on other platforms because the games on average are WAY harder on Amiga then any other platform I cover here. I say this as someone who has been playing Blood Money for two days and still can't make it further than halfway through level 1.

I highly recommend reading the manual for Blood Money on Amiga in place of a review of that game that will likely never happen due to me being so awful at it. The manual is REALLY funny. Like, funny enough to make me want to keep trying in spite of how hard it is.

Lucozade is delicious and something you would get as a child when you were sick/hungover/had diarrhea. To the point where they now have to put on the label that it's specifically not suitable for drinking when you have diarrhea. This fact of the day was brought to you by: diarrhea.

Lemmings is one of those games I would always quit really early because I was so bad at that style of game. But I really enjoyed your review anyway, makes me want to try give it another try.

i had Lemmings on the Master System as a kid, but it was too hard for me. Now that I love puzzle games I really should give it another try one day

The Master System version is actually not bad given the hardware (as long as you have the pause button easily reachable to press at a second's notice), it's not one of my first choices but it's a neat version with some original content even

Great writeup, the sounds and amazing animations are burned in my brain. That hi-res bug you mentioned is crazy! I had DOS version and Tribes on the SNES but you've made me need to break out Christmas Lemmings!

Been catching up on your gravity shooter reviews, and I assure you this wasn't intended, but I still find it funny that we both reviewed mouse controlled arcade style games around the same time and then went on to review Asteroid descendants at around the same time as well. I was actually unfamiliar with Gravitar until your review, and then it ended up coming up when I was looking up Asteroids history too!

Also, the link to play Thrust gives me a 403 forbidden error. Is this a region lock or IP issue? The entire BBC Micro site seems inaccessible to me, so I might just be unlucky.

Also was meaning to ask if you're familiar with Pixeljunk Shooter? I remember playing it back on PS3 and I recall it shared a lot of elements with the gravity shooter genre (physics, tractor beam, etc)

I have seen Pixeljunk Shooter but never played it, I had a PS3 but it was only used for wanting to play a game, updating the OS, updating the game, then realising I ran out of time to play and then doing it all again a few weeks later haha

There's another gravity game called Oids I've never heard of before that I fancy doing soon and there are some Mac versions. If you want to/are able to get hold of it we could do a dual-neocities-retro-review-collabaganza!

I have just reviewed Gravitar and Thrust, both of which use the same shield mechanic which I think is great. I had no idea that came from Asteroids Deluxe! Sadly neither game has female orgasming sound effects so do they even count as games?
