Hasn't been 24 hours yet; new Pokemon blog post. Vent about google nonsense and how Go hasn't been that fun for me in years, despite still being an special interest. I do not want software advice; I have laid out my plans for my phone in this post and those will not change. Job hunting SUCKS and stressing about having to find a job sucks, and I get the fear of passion weaning if your hobby becomes a job =.=' From experience I can say it can go both ways.. I've made drawing commissions to people, and some of them I've loved working on, and some of them frustrated me to no end... but when a customer is happy with your work, it's always an awesome feeling ^-^

Keeping it very casual and being upfront about what kind of projects you're ok working on could help. It can be very fun to create for someone else, but only if the vibes are good.

iβm glad art hasnβt been influenced by me doing commissions in the 7 years or so, but itβs the worry of other things that do ;_; or if it leads to burnout and i end up not doing it for myself anymore

Ough yeah, I get that;;; But, as long as you don't rely on it for your livelihood, you can always stop doing websites for money if it starts feeling like, well, work. Burnout suuuckksss so def don't go too hard on yourself ;w;

Personally? Huuuge turn-off. I've had times where the sound is just way too loud, or I have to search the page very hard to turn it off, etc. I generally do hit play when it's an option, I like having that control.
big turn off; i used to be on tumblr when that was big on both personal and roleplay sites (circa 2014) and i disliked it then, dislike it now. having music is ok tho if i can turn it on myself

It annoys me when its looooud or when I cant find the player.. I used to have a music player on my tumblr blog and had autoplay turned off because I used to hate it. I find it endearing nowadays. I kinda like when im being forced to listen to music tho, gives me a chance to hear something ive never heard before.
i think its ok if you warn people about it in the index but generally pretty awful imo
huge yes from meeee, i love it when people's personal sites are just jam packed with parts of themselves. + the mute tab button is right there, it's nbd. i love it when personal sites are very clearly for the webmaster's enjoyment and nobody else haha

I have Firefox set so it doesn't autoplay media. if some music gets through, I mute the tab. I'm thankful for the sites that start with the music toggled off
i personally prefer it off by default, as too often there's no volume slider. i dont like having to turn down my whole computer audio for one site. music in general is lovely though, when the option is there
