Kyle says he's investigating the URL parameter issue. This will determine if I change hosts back to Neocities for Chattable. I like the platform, as a form of posting updates & seeing updates but if it withers my site's functionality it defeats the usefulness.

It's being made with bootstrap, instead of my own janky CSS. (I have no talent in graphic design) for everyone else's sake. Makes things easier to read, find stuff, and more accessibility.
An important note has been posted on the front page of Chattable in the "News & Updates" section.

Chattable is experiencing an outage, yes. It won't be resolved fully until August 12th. Keep an eye on my page here or on the chat in iframe.chat for updates

You can switch the domain in the iframe element to beta.iframe.chat instead of iframe.chat for now and it'll work

A little late, but congratulations on 3 million views! This is has to be one of the top projects to impact/influence the neocities community in the past couple of years. Free and customizeable chatrooms everywhere :)

Working on persistence, you *should* be able to keep your website open for a while now without having to reload to fix things. Before if you idled too long you'd get disconnected and wouldn't be able to do anything except send new messages

Many have noticed a fair amount of inappropriate messages on their chats, guestbooks, and comment sections across neocities today. From Chattable's logs, it appears almost every instance uses a different IP and based on the behavior of these accounts it's suspected that it's ran by a script.

Further, While Chattable and other services like Cbox can't completely block this individual(s), Chattable is releasing extra moderation features to help combat this. Starting tomorrow, all chats will have custom word/phrase filters that you can edit on the Dashboard. Beyond that, it is also planned to allow you to set your chat so that you must approve messages before they're visible to everyone.

This feature is available to all users as of now. A few things to note: words & phrases are case insensitive, your chosen filters will be applied in conjunction with the pre-existing filters if your chat is rated PG13, each filter has a character length of 25 chars, each chat can store 50 unique words & phrases. Stay safe!

It's easier to navigate, more accessible for those with disabilities, looks cleaner on my portfolio, and I like bootstrap. With as many new users I get every month I want to make navigation as easy as possible which started with improving the dashboard and led to overhauling everything.
