Hello chattable, I would like to use your service. I've been trying to sign up for an account but it's asking me to agree to the terms and conditions, while there's nothing to select in order for me to agree to the terms and conditions. It's just a link to the terms and conditions. I'm very confused. Please help.

Oh wait, I just found it! Can I reccomend making the select button contrast against the white background it's on better? This is potentially an accessibility issue.

Chat Owners! Managing your moderators has finally gotten easier. Mod names are now logged when you promote a user and are used to identify each moderator on the dashboard.

*existing moderators before this update will not have their names available (it'll show "true" instead of their username) you can demote and promote your mods to update their name.

Only the chat owner & it's set moderators can send attachments due to this reason.

We've removed our button wall to help prevent trolls or other people with ill intent from having easy access to a number of our users. This section has been replaced with a testimonial section.

Many of the themes haven't changed! I just added some spice to some super old ones which haven't been edited since 2021 (and chattable has a lot of new things to customize now)

Feels too smooth and clean, but reading your article about the decision makes me appreciate it. I can admit there have been times where I've given up one something just because the site isn't easy to understand. (Github repositories, if that's what they're called, always get me. I can never naviagte them easily)

The Kick Theme/Demo just got a big redesign with a frutiger-aero look. This theme was made in reference to Kik Messenger but never really looked the part. Now it does!

New theme for Chattable called bytechat, a fun reference to bitchat if you guys have heard of it. It's a decentralized messaging app that uses tor & a bluetooth mesh network to work when it has no access to internet or cellular. It's cool, you can chat with strangers in "rooms" too, much like Chattable

Kyle says he's investigating the URL parameter issue. This will determine if I change hosts back to Neocities for Chattable. I like the platform, as a form of posting updates & seeing updates but if it withers my site's functionality it defeats the usefulness.

It's easier to navigate, more accessible for those with disabilities, looks cleaner on my portfolio, and I like bootstrap. With as many new users I get every month I want to make navigation as easy as possible which started with improving the dashboard and led to overhauling everything.

Edit: Kyle provided a workaround solution which I was already aware of but it required me to change the links in each of your iframes (not possible) so I'm choosing to stay self hosted but will continue to post and comment on Neocities.

It's being made with bootstrap, instead of my own janky CSS. (I have no talent in graphic design) for everyone else's sake. Makes things easier to read, find stuff, and more accessibility.

You can switch the domain in the iframe element to beta.iframe.chat instead of iframe.chat for now and it'll work

I am aware of the Chattable outage, please use beta links for the time being. E.g https://beta.iframe.chat/embed?chat=000 instead of https://iframe.chat/embed?chat=000
