OH, re + my replies on the other post: the annoying vig links on the forums, i use skip redirect and forgot i had it turned off, it'll skip the affiliate links. sucks it cant be removed in the first place lmao, so understandable why it might not be appealing for some ppl bc of that 💀 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/skip-redirect/

ooh id love to join but im noticing that external links in some posts & signatures are being replaced with affiliate redirects (redirect.vglink.com) - even on the privacy policy/terms of service links in the footer, which is kind of super garbage. this seems like an intended feature of proboards so im guessing theres not a way to turn this off?

unfortunately intended. ive looked into it and the proboard staff say its affiliate link checks if they go out to their partners. sadly no way to turn it off

yeah… wish there was an easy way to like… back up your old site layouts if you want to return to them and Not Lose Out on the work you’ve done. i’m sure static site generators might help with that but they stupidly go over my head in concept and execution
