You can access the old 3di games via hshop on a modded 3ds. Its a little bit of a process though, if you haven't done it.

Oh sick! I've actually never owned a 3ds, so idk much about the games on that shop did they have dsi shop games

Yeah! I dusted off my 3ds which I haven't touched in a few years. It has DSiWare games, as well as 3ds and Virtual Console. I'm revisiting brain age right now, one of my favorites.
