From that gif I looks the anime has thick borders. I haven't paid much attention to Chinese stuff probably cause a lot of it is fighting stuff.

Some involve fighting, but some are more slice of life/comedy type of shows. Chinese animation has three distinct forms, conventional art style as with much of Japanese anime today, 3D CGI anime taking inspiration from video game cut scenes (typically these have surround sound too) and a traditional art style with thick lines and flowing animation like this show. Hope this helps.

I am most interested in your career. Might I ask if you had an old Geocities website? I would love to know! Looking forward to developments.
Nice developing website. Have you seen Ranma 1/2, I feel that the comedy is somewhat similar (if a little more raunchy) to the Dragon Ball Franchise? If not, then I would recommend it to you (though I have yet to see the series).

Nice, good luck on your course work. If you need help with any math courses (namely MAC1105, which is required for everyone), I can help.

Very helpful website, keep up the good work. On an unrelated note, how does the 2003 anime compare to the manga?
fullmetal2003's avatar fullmetal2003 3 years ago

Thank you!! I’m glad you’ve found it useful so far. The 2003 anime uses early manga plot points and changes things about them to create a darker more philosophical and morality themed story. It's not an adaptation striving for accuracy. The manga is more fun shounen and 2003 is an exploration of the characters, their morals and their emotions. I'd love to say more but the neocities replies can only be so long lmao

I didn't dislike Gatsby as a character, and cheesy or not (I watch anime) there were a few good lines like Daisy's voice sounding like money and you know the last passages. Anyhow it's just a short novel to read in an evening, more of a mood piece than anything. What did you think of the movie? And I would like to see you write some posts about Ayn Rand.

There are two movies. I have only seen the 2013 one. In short: decent acting, good effects (except for that one green screen moment), but royally screwed over by the soundtrack, it sounded like Boyz N the Hood, but in the 1920s. I had heard the opposite for the other movie. I may consider having a movie review. Also, my review is incomplete and has taken me several days to think of how to write my basic feelings.

That said, I believe the book does get better near the end, but it does not make up for the rest of the story and the problems I had with it. The final quote, admittedly is one of the best pieces of English writing I have read. This leads me to getting more annoyed at it than say, Twilight (alright, that is a bad example, but I hate Twilight for a completely different set of reasons than Gatsby).

Just finished the Gatsby review, finally I can get some rest. Now to finish the manga reviews!
