Cyberpunk Edgerunners is all edge, but does not run anywhere with the plot. The characters are forgettable and rarely referred to by name, some shots use lens flare for no apparent reason and the plot is edgy just for the sake of being edgy. It is a rule of cool anime, that makes Angel Cop look like The Big O, when it comes to a logical and nuanced plot. I am struck at how this anime is in MyAnimeList's top 50. 4/10
