You will be able to see the beginning of a map of the article on comedy and moe. Should I cover ecchi comedy, like Tenchi Muyo and DearS and how this sort of comedy practically collapsed by the end of the 2000s (though there are still newer series that do it).

I think so, it is interesting how hard the whole genre collapsed, after being such a staple- and Tenchi in and of itself has a decently interesting path.
