I'm a bit late to comment on this log, but regarding your opinion on surrealism, I feel the same way about the art movement. However, I find both the work of Remedios Varo and Leonora Carrington so moving in a different way, which also makes me mad haha

I have a bunch of large unused canvases that I've been too afraid to paint on bc I'm afraid the finished paintings will just end up in a closet. but they take up the same amount of space either way! perhaps I will finally use them !
