Thank you for your service, I love detailed and long form reviews, so always look forward to your stuff. But as with everyone on here I'm glad you're going your own pace and not churning it out as you mention (or burning out). FWIW I haven't played any of the games you did this year but my favourite review was Sitting Ducks, which I read to the soundtrack.

Excellent work this year! Can also vouch for the value of lengthier and more in-depth reviews, I think you do it well and your reviews are a lot of fun (and frankly an inspiration for my own site). Favourite review this year was Chobits definitely. Happy New Year!

Interesting cabinets....I'm always intrigued by games in which notable filmmakers were involved prior to prominence. K. Kurosawa's contributions to Sweet Home's Famicom adaptation come to mind.

I always miss the timing to comment on entries with stuff I know. A week too late but here we go: Captain Commando is awesome, used to play a lot on the SNES, my cousin had Battletoads & Double Dragon and yeah it's quite hard, and Rival Turf... eh... imo it's one of these generic titles that are hardly ever picked to be played for a second time :P
I also like reading about your gaming. I believe I know quite a bit about gaming (but mostly retro), and you play a lot of things I never heard of or have completely forgotten about.

@skep Unrelated, but I had a dream where a bunch of people were in space and you found classic lit from other civilizations to write about on your site.
@pirahxcx I kinda like Rival Turf, it was at least quick moving. Battletoads & Double Dragon seems doable with practice, though, I think I'll probably come back to it. Captain Commando *was* awesome, I gotta try the other characters. Comment timing doesn't matter at all on my end!
