hi, thank you so much for your website, it's really helping me learn a lot! just wanted to let you know that on your vscode setup page, you link to bechnokid's tutorial but the link is dead. i found it and it's changed from /tutorials/vscode to /resources/vscode. thanks again!!!

I get so much (automated) spam in my guestbook even though I put the spam filter to high, I might have to switch to a different guestbook solution or disable it completely :(

I'm currently using https://guestbooks.meadow.cafe/ it has a lot of options but the anti-bot verification is buggy when using js embed

funnily enough, I saw this and I thought I'd drop by and leave your guestbook a message, but the spam filter blocked me lmao apparently my ISP isn't very appreciated by the maintainers of the widget

I haven't had one since the mid 00's, and with a full-time job + kid now I'm short on time. Your tool really made my life so much easier and helped me to kickstart my little project, so thank you!!

I feel like webrings is one of the things that makes pages slow. I have my webrings page seperate for like ages and I still measure it time to time because I also put a page load time info on that page, and I usually get from 10 seconds to reaching 3 minutes for 27 webrings (15 widget-based, 12 link-only), and I still getting Lighthouse results on my webring page that it has one of the worst performances on my site.

@jbcarreon123 yeah, scripts like onionring are pretty much the worst thing you can do for perfomance, it irks me so much that so many webrings still use it even though there are several much better options available!!

@tofutush yes, categories would be awesome, to go through 60+ websites and give everyone honest points required making spreadsheets to not get lost, categories could help organize it a bit ;)

@lankarta-project this time around, since winners are calculated using average points again, i will not make it a requirement to rate every single website because it would simply be impossible. instead, a random 10-20 or so will be chosen and the rest is optional!
