@rbuchanon environmental science was what i wanted to major in, but i ended up doing computer science instead (the only interest i have in that is html and only as a hobby haha)

The (wholly necessary) restrictions imposed on these comments hardly conduce nuanced and sound counsel. Nathless, if you're to shoulder the onus of student debt (characterized as it is by marginal usury), you should study a course that'll ensure eligibility for a career that's both lucrative and enjoyable. In particular, no few berths for environmental chemists are available in both the private and public sectors.

I like the way the images on your front page look (and the small file sizes). How did you make them look like that?

Thanks! I made those in Gimp. The images have been put through the Colors -> Dither tool and the text tool was set to "no antialiasing". The look was inspired with sample images from an old version of MS FrontPage. As for the gradient under the text, I wish I remembered because I can't recreate it right now (I have the template file saved though)... \(￣︶￣*\)) Perhaps dithering was involved too.

Oh, okay. I'm glad you liked my image, I usually just steal them from somewhere and try to keep the filesize down. I use paint.NET but I like the dithered look of yours a lot.

Lots more thought provoking stuff! I've noticed myself caring less and less about what people think over the years and I'm now facinated by the idea I could be biologically wired this way, to not conform! But then, is it that I've (subconsciously or naturally) sought a life void of social contact so I don't have to conform, and thus lead my brain to become wired this way, or was it wired this way all along?!

Thank you so much, bmh! It's not my place to make any assumptions about you specifically, but there are theories that a decreased or complete lack of social motivation is one of the absolute pillars of neurodivergency/autism. I have pondered the same thing you mentioned, and still don't know. I adore social contact with the few people I like, but it's not something I necessarily seek out or can't live without.
