ive done all kinds of protective hairstyles and am now thinking of going for locs (ive had them once but they were very shoddily installed so i never did them again) meow the issue is that every single hairdresser i go to refuses to do them 'too short' and give me shoulder lenght everytime. and then i dont cut it. ok whatever ill cut it i guess

Cut your hair before you go in the salon! So that they literally can’t have it at shoulder length lol. I’ve always wanted locs but I love my big hair so much.
