have you thought abt locking your hair? it’s relatively low maintenance and you can have it at any length you want. i know installation is expensive (my mom has sister locks so i know) but it’s something to think about
ive done all kinds of protective hairstyles and am now thinking of going for locs (ive had them once but they were very shoddily installed so i never did them again) meow the issue is that every single hairdresser i go to refuses to do them 'too short' and give me shoulder lenght everytime. and then i dont cut it. ok whatever ill cut it i guess
Cut your hair before you go in the salon! So that they literally can’t have it at shoulder length lol. I’ve always wanted locs but I love my big hair so much. But you’re right it literally takes me an entire day to detangle and wash my hair when it’s out because my hair is longer.. it’s torture but we ball
