got up to like episode nine on aquatope, trying to remember why I dropped it. definitely was pretty though; I think it felt too out-of-this-world to be my type of SoL. interesting initial premise that meshed into an escape; and although I loved the simplistic yet beautiful location w/ emphasis on locality, the conflict explored felt detached at best, i.e. fame or getting good at new things, disjoint from setting

yes, that makes sense! the conflict/message did feel confused at times, like you said, so i do wish they had gone more into that. i think that does happen with a lot of SoLs, though, since there’s usually not a ton of plot.

There isn't that much height between the lines of text on your site. Is it on purpose to avoid unnecessary scrolling?

It's actually the result of just bad css and html code in general but I guess you can say the spacing between lines of text is so that I can fit more text into long pages (such as my dailyblogs).

Lovely theme! ...I don't think any of that sounds stupid at all. I can empathize with desperately wanting to feel "pretty" or "cool", and not feeling comfortable with oneself to the point where it stifles your self-expression. It can be about artistic creativity and finding peace within oneself, instead of following trends or comparing people. Now I get excited about the idea of designing/making clothes...

...What is considered "pretty" and "cool" is completely subjective, so my decisions about it are just as valid as anyone else's and I can embrace them fully...even if it means that I end up being the only one liking them. Lol! You already have a great sense of art and design. Maybe this can be translated into your outfits in a way that makes you feel beautiful?
