Oops, I run out of memory on google drive and I forgot to change the e-mail. The new one is the same but with hotmail.com instead of gmail.com

this made me think of the emachine desktops i had when i was younger and this orange and white walkman i had throughout elementary school that i had to use a hairtie to keep shut

@bmh I see. You could be right about it being a fault in one of the chips (I would check the RAM first), or it could be something as simple as a bad connection because of rust or other stuff. What happens if you press reset for a bit?

@displayman I have used deoxit and reseated the few socketed chips. Pressing reset just cycles the effect; it was also doing a chequeboard pattern. I have ordered some replacement RAM and sockets; they'll take a while to arrive.

Bit of a fun tidbit about netbooks: the base of my website was made using Seamonkey Composer on an Asus EeePC 1011PX. That laptop now has video output issues, but the Windows XP install lives on in my Asus EeePC 1015PE.
@marshmellosucks That's sweet; those EeePCs sure were popular. I just ran Seamonkey on my HP with Zorin OS with little trouble; I love that it still retains the Netscape aesthetic.
Yeah I love my little EeePC, I use it as a portable 2000's time capsule. The base layout of the Emporium's new website was made using CoffeeCup VisualSite Designer on that little thing.
