hello lovely, I went to like and reply to your comment about the kudos feature and promptly deleted it 🤦‍♀️ I wanted to say it's powered by tinylytics! and you can do it so it doesn't collect stats, just the kudos of you dont like analytics. it's such a cute service and I love being able to leave kudos on bearblogs and the like. kinda like an 'i was here and acknowledge this page'. anyway, hope you're well 💖

Aww hahaha that's alright, it happens! The buttons are scarily close to each other, it's crazy! If I blogged more I would totally add that to my site, I'll have to keep it in mind for future stuff!! I will def be using it on yours, I love all of your posts! I'm doing well and I hope you are too! Your site is awesome as always!👍🏾✨💙✨

That's good to know! I like the idea of having a kudos button on my blog posts, which is a feature that I miss since moving away from Bearblog.

@sneek something about that crunchiness that I love. and yesss I convert them to base64 coz I can't be bothered to categorise them in a folder and love the magic of all those characters making a frikken picture 😄💖

right!!!!! ive been considering a pics/observations area for my site -- some lovely details of some pics would get lost with supercrunchy methods (and im very fine with categorizing pics) but i could well consider an Absolutely Scuffed Specials corner...

I have two WiiRing members running into to csp issues with the webring and I haven't found a solution yet >_< idk why some neocities sites are having the error while others aren't

jeith wow that sounds like a pain. the only thing i can think of is turning wiiring into an iframe or doing something weird like loading members via another script tag

thanks a ton, you helped me find a solution. i'll be posting it on my site later, but i created a version of the webring with an iframe like you said: https://jeith.com/wii-webring.html?site=https://dabric.xyz&variant=standard & links have target="_parent" so it functions like a webring when in a iframe

i followed a lot of people (mainly artists) on twitter, and it seems no one from there still actively maintains a website. with exception to those that are like, mainly web developers ofc. wonder why that is, lack of engagement or too much effort or somethn?

im guessing because its harder to share stuff with a website. one of the nice things about social media is if you like a post you can retweet it or put it on your instagram story. but with a website you can't really do that. you can post a link to a page, but i found people don't really click that.

Love your latest blog post about keeping it personal. I need to do more of that too. I get caught up in trying to make it worth reading, but I need to stay focused on just writing whatever I can write from my own unique perspective.

Strongly relate with your recent blog post! The permanence of online things can both be so amazing and terrifying, lol. It's good to keep things in perspective about posting on your own personal website and keeping things casual, and it's something I also want to reflect more on. 💗
