How do I get a CSS animation to animate beyond the width of its parent? I solved the overflow problem with my fake marquee, but it won't scroll past the edge of its parent like a (marquee) tag would, and I need it to. Setting the units to 100% of the screen didn't help. I'm not sure I fully understand the problem, but you can use units higher than 100, like 150% and 200%

What I currently have on there is "100vw" which SHOULD be 100% of the width of the screen with no relation to the parent element.

You have a lot of prefixed elements in your CSS (the moz-transform and webkit-transform) set to percentages still, which may be somehow taking precedence; try changing all of those and the default transform to vw at once

Ok wait it looks like you have an animation "scroll" in your index's CSS which is using vw, but it never gets applied to your marquee because the only selector it applies to is ".enabled-animation .marquee_content", and that space means it's looking for the child "marquee_content" of "enabled_animation", but there's no enabled_animation anywhere, so it's falling back to the "marquee" animation in your homepage_styles

try applying it to .marquee instead of .marquee-content (it's not moving now because .marquee-content is a span element, or inline, and they hate wriggling. you could also set .marquee-content to "display:block")

Fuck it, I'm just putting my affiliates on a separate page. Marquees don't work on Librewolf and every CSS animation alternative I've tried has the same issue no matter what it does to the display -- it won't show more buttons than fit in the sidebar's width, even if told to allow overflow and not word wrap.

For whatever reason, Neocities update thumbnails really don't like Tahoma as a font... I've finally added fallbacks in in the form of Verdana on all of the other pages I previously forgot to

You might also want to add the generic "sans-serif" as a last-resort fallback - despite Verdana being a "web safe" font, it still isn't preinstalled on all systems. (I'm on a pretty plain install of Debian that doesn't have Tahoma *or* Verdana, so right now I see a generic "serif" fallback.)
