frankenstein (2025) was a good interpretation of the novel & i dont care what twitter tries to tell me
i havent read the book since i was a teenager but i also was excited to see something that felt more faithful to the story, i would have loved if they cranked up the visual aesthetic more to be more into the surreal aspects of the design, like the parents coffin or some of the exagerated period costumes
@thelifeofabug i do agree!! I wish the lab had looked a bit more theatrical to be honest, it was a lovely set but it was also pretty bland for a mad science lab
