I think 1984 is the only classic I've read that wasn't for school, although if you're up for non-fiction I much preferred his essay "politics and the english language." Both are in the public domain where I live, but I'm not sure about the US/other countries. Gutenberg project is a great place to check.

Gutenberg is available here and I believe the works were released into the public domain by Orwell's estate, so it should be available.

This probably counts as a short story and not a novel but I would recommend "To Build a Fire" by Jack London, its a short read but its very well written
On my fifth episode of Ninja Hattori-kun (dub) (about fifteenth overall in the series) and so far, I really like this show, even though it is targeted at a younger audience. I found the humor to be on point, as well as the characters to be well written, if not well developed. I may do a review on this later, I only have to get through 210 more episodes!

Agradeço muítissimo pelos elogios! Não tenho um anime preferido exatamente, mas gosto bastante de Soul Eater e Evangelion; são duas obras que conheci em períodos distintos de minha vida, mas ambos possuem bastante importância pessoal. Thanks a lot, I am doing somewhat ok. I have been busy writing a few things but did not share them yet. I will be back on track really soon. It is good to see there are people who cares about the stuff I write. I really did not want to post stuff like the last thing I posted every single day. It was best for me to take a break for a while. Bad mood is contagious, hope I did not bring people's mood down.
