are any of you involved in antique or artifacts preservation or restoration and have any good resources or communities you like ? seeking info on preserving something very insane rn in conjunction with contacting nearby museum. Also that stuff is just super cool to learn about anyways.

Not an expert in preservation, but depending on where you found the artifact and what it is, it may fall under NAGPRA and would need to be reported to the Feds: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/nagpra/index.htm

finally putting in myrchella archives. 2023's event archive page is like. half made. the rest plus the 2025 attendee info page doesn't exist yet and is also probably of no use to any of you. saying and doing this all because I'm procrastinating a really big project for the site I've been getting sick of looking at. how are you !

there is so much art work out there too. who do you think makes really big art stuff and huge sculptures and theme parks and museum exhibits movie sets and stuff. art is so much more than Etsy shops and gallery shows !!! shooting you with my hypnotism beam you want to learn a trade you want to learn a trade so bad

Have you made it yet? I'm a blue collar worker from a blue collar family, and a Bachelor's in Fine Art. One of my degree pieces was a welded steel giant umbrella arm. Bout 16 feet long and 10 feet high in places. I didn't get to make more than one, or exhibit it in meatspace, because our graduate show was in 2020. Lol
to make a long story very short. I was reading breakfast of champions by Kurt vonnegut when a man commented on my book. we talked for quite a while and I (on topic to the book) made some very colorful remarks about the American government. to a man who I would later learn was a us senator. so. really fumbled that interaction in a way I think only Vonnegut could have written. the poem wrote itself there.

I do not have one, I apologize!!!!! I'm not exactly shy, but i didn't feel like I could write anything in an about page that couldn't be gathered from the rest of my site ! I hope u understand!
