i think it was a good idea that went sour because they ended up having to keep track of too many people. still I hate to see anyone get lolcowed. they didnt deserve that.

I actually appreciated them collecting neighbor buttons! And it was nice surfing through other pages. Personally, I did not mind getting unfollowed. I was amused (and shocked) by the strong responses.

you can keep it out of folders if you need to. just use Disallow: /foldername/

All you do is put a file in your root directory (where your homepage is) called "robots.txt". As for what to put in it, you can have a look at mine. badgraph1csghost.neocities.org/robots.txt Heck you can just copy the whole thing, it's pretty well curated!
