Happy belated birthday! I was worried about entering my 30's as well but I can tell you with confidence they are miiiileessss better than my 20's lol. Hopefully it will be the same for you <3 wishing you health after getting over the 'vid.

Ahhh can't wait to see your paintings! Love what you said about confidence coming with age. I'm also approaching my 30s and I feel a little scared but mostly so excited for them! There's something so chic about being 30 someting.

@chey that's a great attitude to have, treating it as something chic--because you're right, there is! There's nothing more stylish than self-confidence, right?? At least for me, it's pretty amazing to see how far I've come in just the last three years even, in ways that can only be achieved from time and growth and learning ♡

Not sure why my desire to write about my trip to Japan is so low though it is being chipped away at (I really should've written while I was there but I'm sure you understand wanting to experience things without writing your thoughts every few seconds)... I am gathering research for another essay though. It's a really big topic, so not sure when I'll be done.. but I am very passionate about it so hopefully soon!

Can't wait to see that art gallery! The cashew chicken stir-fry looks yummy... You didn't come across as navel-gazey at all in your diary entry either btw, aging and change are things we all have to deal with. I find that I'm in a much better place than my teens as well. Isn't it funny how people hype up high school as the peaks of our lives? It's nice just to grow tired of what people think and grow more and more-

Amy, I always look forward to your kind and thoughtful replies, thank you!! You're totally right about it being funny, and it's true! A few days ago some friends and I were also talking about how this can happen in college/uni too, where they're so hyped up that you feel like you're doing something "wrong" if you're struggling with mental health or anything else--I certainly was!
Life and my feelings towards myself are only continuing to go up from here! But thank you again for the well wishes, I feel more energized since writing this for sure! ;w; ♡♡
