Есть пара вопросов касаемо Эсперанто: 1. Не возникает ли ощущения, что, несмотря на его предполагаемую всемирность, он сугубо евроцентричный? Каков вклад в него носителей китайского, индонезийского, йоруба, хинди? Нам с вами понятно, что такое "Okcidenta и Orienta", хоть ни я, ни, возможно, вы не говорим ни на одном романском языке на разговорном уровне, а носитель арабского, даже неглупый, поймёт?

2. Есть две категории людей. Одни считают язык лишь средством передачи информации (назовём их “рационалисты“), другие считают язык очень сложной концепцией, непосредственным хранителем истории, культуры и образа мышления их носителей (назовём их “лингворомантики”). В качестве примера того, как это выражается - сможете ли вы открыть русско-японский или англо-японский словарь (такой, чтобы онлайн, с поиском вариантов)

и чётко сказать, как на японском сказать “рис”? Так вот, как лингворомантик, хочу спросить вас, предполагаемого рационалиста - насколько эсперанто хорош, когда разговор выходит за пределы, условно говоря, описания технологии приготовления пива или рассказа о ходе индустриальной революции? Не будет ли такой разговор лишён выразительности?

Насколько хорошо он подходит для передачи тонких эмоциональных нюансов, подтекста, намёков, сложных культурных концепций и т.д. Смогу ли я на эсперанто сказать “авось прокатит“ (вместо “может, прокатит“ или “наверное, прокатит“) или мимолётно упомянуть, что испытываю чувство саудаде? Немного многословно получилось, но, надеюсь, вы поняли идею.

1. Заменгоф делал эсперанто из тех языков, которыми в какой-то степени владел. Из европейских. Эсперанто не заявлен как "язык, одинаково лёгкий для всех". Это язык (из существующих и известных мне) самый простой для освоения - чтоб не только пассивно понимать, но и самому писать и говорить. Для араба и для китайца с папуасом изучить эсперанто до уровня полноценного общения должно быть - хотя труднее, чем европейцу

- в разы проще, чем английский или французский. 2. Технических и естественно-научных текстов ("о технологии приготовления пива") на эсперанто как раз нехватка, к сожалению. Зато достаточно художественной литературы, разного качества. Выразительности хватает. Конечно, при переводе на эсперанто надо соображать "как то, что у нас всем ясно по культурному контексту, высказать так, чтоб было понятно индусу и корейцу".

Приходится отталкиваться от смысла, а не от "языковых клише". "Может, прокатит" - это незаинтересованная неуверенность. Получится или нет - поглядим, как выйдет. Если для говорящего разница невелика, то для "может" я выбрал бы наречие eventuale. А если "может" значит "обоснованно надеюсь", тогда espereble - "можно надеяться". "Авось, прокатит" - неуверенная надежда. Тут, наверно, ni esperu ke - "давайте надеяться,

This merits some explanation. I was once an avid visitor to 4chan's /x/ board, which focuses on paranormal activity. Long, long ago.
Genuinely, though, it is likely for the best if the site fades away, but still feels rather strange to see it vanish.
I accidentally deleted a comment on this? But it was one I agreed with. It is for the best that 4chan is gone. I don’t understand why it is so hard to like comments on neocities without accidentally deleting them, though.
