Hi goblincat thank you for following! I love your site design. just so you know your p tag for News Updates for 0.5rem font size ends up at 8px in the browser window and is very hard to read without zooming. I love the games you've made especially the butterfly merge one. And the pixel art layout is very Castlevania style

victorian / castlevania, mainly it's the eyeball painting which reminds me of it which I've seen in Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance

Well, from messing around in the console I discovered the reason my site banner has been blocked for me for over a year is because AdBlocker Ultimate is blocking it from loading. 😅

It was blocked because it had the term 'banner' in the file name, and ad blockers look for that sort of thing to block ads. So I removed that part of the filename and pushed an update to the site. It's fixed now.

Another good one that people forget; idk if Google Chrome has this but Firefox has Enhanced Tracking Protection turned on by default and it *kills* any of the chatbox software you might be using. Source: I've made this mistake twice

If I load the PixScape How to Join page onto my server the form works. If I use the page offline it works. It's only once I load it to Neocities that I get a 405 error. No other issues with the form. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

does the form have method="post"? otherwise if you google something like "form 405 error" you should find something helpful. sorry i can't help further, i don't know much about backend stuff

method is set to post. The error is: Content-Security-Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at (discord hook link) (“connect-src”).

It turns out new accounts are blocked from making external requests (supporters aren't), which I confirmed when I was able to use the form on pixelglade but not on pixscape. https://neocities.org/contact

I made an Image Viewer for my pixel art and anime galleries. I wanted to do this for a long time but didn't have the Javascript skills to implement it. I plan on adding a viewer to the studies and illustration pages too but it's very time consuming to add the meta data so I'm going to do it at a later time.

A lot of users have been here for a few years or months and put time into building their site. Some things you could think about adding include things like shrines (pages dedicated to things you like) or cool sites that you've found, things like that. That way like minded people who visit your page might follow you since you have shared interests.

A lot of people on Neocities including myself are trying to break out of a lot of the habits that social media have ingrained in us so if you consider your site for yourself first and everyone else second then you're on the right track.

i've not had much time/energy to run a website recently and wanted to save some money so im no longer running my site. i'll bring it back up at some point, hopefully, since i did have good resources but at the current moment i've been just not wanting to even look at my site rofl

Major quality of life update. Secondary navigation added to Vegan Recipes, The Vault, Freebies, Fun Stuff. Now you can all navigate sideways instead of just up and down. That's a good curated list of recipes, I want to try some of these bean-based ones. I make a lentil soup similar to the one described here, but a much simpler version.

Thanks! I regularly access my site to make grocery lists because a lot of the recipes I make on the regular. I wouldn't mind taking a look at your lentil soup recipe 😁For the bean recipes I'm making the 'Mediterranean Bean Salad" and "Black Bean Salad" a lot lately (it's summer in Australia atm).
