Remembered that internet is for having fun and doing whatever and decided to make a Splatoon page! It's somewhere between a shrine and a personal corner. Pretty happy with how the visuals turned out! I want to add more stuff, but i'll do that later - too excited to postpone sharing, to exhausted to work on it more :'D

I started on it because actually i want to write short music reviews. But, you see, for that i have to have a blog subsystem, which i didn't finish coding yet. And since i'm a nerd and a freak, i guess i'll have to temporarily put showing music that i like and gushing over how good it is to some other random places on my site.

Got flooded with bug reports from students, so, ALICE bugfixes again. A couple already found stuff so interesting i have no clear idea how to fix it so far :D funny.

i probably should've developed the thing for another year before feeding it to the students tbh. It's remarkable how many GUI stuff they ran into which are not exactly bugs, but also are counterintuitive if i think about it pretending to not be myself... needless to say, i'm piled with bug reports that are not written in requested form and don't reproduce, too :D fuck this shit lmao

now there's a "micropages" subsection in the sitemap! it's for stuff that doesn't deserve a fanfared instantly-visible entry in the sitemap. so far it only has my old crap code that i deleted from github and had to preserve somewhere other than my own computer

Oh, and of course, i removed github from the NERDERY linx section and shoved it into DEFUNCT. Friendship ended with github, now gitea is my friend, until i figure out full and robust self-hosting

Also ALICE is now officially wiped from github, and i'm planning to move other stuff to Gitea soon as well. I gotta figure out an alternative to deployToNeocities, though - that only works on github as far as i understand

new ALICE version. We now have shift-drag selection! It's only for deleting things for now though.. but more will follow. I also fixed a bunch of wiring logic bugs, but there's more; considering renaming the project MALICE

So Mozilla kinda backed off and elaborated on removing the "we do not sell your data" and "you allow us a royalty-free license to anything you input to the browser" statements.. but i'm not sure i want to keep using it despite them explaining how It's Not What I Thought. Anyone has any better-informed opinion? Is it librewolf migration time?

i don't know how they would do this practically and expect anyone to stay with them, especially since their browser is almost completely OSS and anyone with a spare moment can fork Firefox into something else.

I've stopped using Mozilla for years, since they've heavily distanced themselves from focusing on privacy. I'd recommend getting the fork called "LibreWolf", 100% worth it.

So proud of all the work i did on ALICE. It has demo projects now also! So now it's not an empty editor that everyone's free to stare into, but also a place to load up and play with projects i made. I want to try and roll it out here tomorrow, since there are a couple more bugs i have to rectify.

I'd appreciate anyone regardless of technical background depth to go over and poke around cause i'm pretty sure you will encounter some bugs. In which case i will be grateful if you told me. After all, i'm planning to have my students use ALICE for logic circuit studies :D

New ALICE logic sim version soon, i'm nearing the end of a big overhaul. It's still explosive, but much less so after all the work i did. Not sure anyone but me needs it anyways, but it exists and i will make it work as nicely as possible.

Added a bunch of tracks to the player and made it work in calm mode (finally!), added some newer photos where i'm about 20% cooler, rewrote the bio to be 1500 characters shorter AND more readable, changed the pronouns order since i got chiller with people she'ing me

for some reason my github repo autopush crapped itself and i had to manually upload all this new stuff, though. anyone else using git autodeploy experienced a similar thing? if not, i may as well have to write a local script to fucking Do it Without relying on Github

one thing i dislike about nekoweb is the lack of commenting etc - it's one big RSS dump instead. I see the appeal, but also i kinda like the idea of being able to leave little comments on people's pages and maybe replying to friends' updates.

@foureleven it's not a question of whether people use LLMs to make an engine run, which sux in my eyes too, but many do right now, and if the technology was near-harmless power wise, i wouldn't care *too* much. It's a question of pushing using AI on *us*, not clarifying their stance on scraping *our* art and thoughts and such to train one - something i would be massively against.
