To be clear, divcel annoys me bcus he's completely disingenuous. Hundreds of ppl assumed his follows/likes indicated real interest in their websites, that he actually cared about their thoughts, feelings, art... all the hard work that goes into coding something with love.

But in reality, divincel is nothing more than a crab in a bucket masquerading as a man. He's stomping on the honest intentions of everyone affected by his selfish and disruptive behaviour. He's gross! And I think everyone who he fooled should know it.

Those hundreds of people whom he lied to, I'd assume. Wouldn't you be disappointed if someone complimented something you worked hard on, only to find out later that they 1) never actually saw it, and 2) only opened their mouth so YOU would pay attention to THEM? Is this an issue of comprehension or of empathy? Genuinely I cannot tell.

I'm hoping that neocities will eventually get rid of follower count and make it like how nekoweb is since it seems to keep being a problem, but I doubt it will happen

Thank you everyone!!! This period isn't quite the digital detox you may be picturing, more like rattling the cage that keeps me from my beloved web design..... So I really will need "luck" to get thru this heh. Still, it's been nice to get out and Do Moving Things, & I'll keep up with everyone's updates even when I'm trapped on mobile!!
