explore a life cycle in some kind of writing. for example, you could use metamorphosis, diapause/hibernation, paedogenesis [very weird], puberty, the salmon life cycle, the amphibian life cycle, or something else entirely! you don't have to be direct-- just start here and get inspired.

After re-reading it, I figured ghazl sounds better in Arabic due to the motion of its vowels and lack thereof, but English may still have a chance if the rhyme scheme was just right.

fuck salvador dali for being evil. that said, here's this week's prompt: write a piece inspired by two famous dali paintings-- persistence of memory and the elephants. consider exploring movement, slowness/speed, heat/cold, and warped sensations. if you want links to the paintings, check our home or prompts page, since neocities won't let me link it here.
