hi!! can i ask for some very newbie guidance on how i would implement loading in your traffic counter/last updated JS using a JS file rather than HTML? when i use it as a file, i get no result even with other javascript files being loaded in right. do you have any tips?? thank you again for all your contributions to the community <3 <3

I experimented with it, and had some odd results. I moved the code into a file called hitcounter.js, and immediately, the .html file reported that the script was blocked by the browser. I tried to look at the file I uploaded, and it just hung on Loading... I renamed it to hitcounter2.js, and then it was fine. Referencing this new filename also worked.

I tried naming it something else locally and reuploading, but now that filename was locked somehow. I ended up just choosing a new filename via the New File button on the uploader, and then copy & pasting the code into it. That seemed to do that trick. Not sure what's up, since I've uploaded .js files before, and this would be a huge pain if I can to implement the manual workaround.

ok, thanks so much. i'll give a shot at uploading it via pasting the code into neocities itself. it's an odd problem, it's not necessarily something i NEED to have loaded into a file, but it just seemed so weird to me it didn't work when i tried? thanks!!

The console log in the developer portion of the browser can help to a degree

LOVED IT! Love seeing Needs as the first song up. It's my favorite Tinashe song which I listened to about a billion times last year I simply couldn't get enough. This is supposed to be about last year's listening but I'm curious to hear ur thoughts as a fellow Addison Rae appreciator on High Fashion. Personally, I'm Obsessed (hahaseewhatididthere)(also i love Obsessed unironically). Great work on this writeup!

I actually used a mid 2007 Mac Mini quite a lot when i was a kid, so i can't deny that i may have took some inspiration from the mountain lion and yosemite days of MACOSX lol. Anyways, tysm!!
