heya! found you via Tofutush and digging your OC designs, especially Dominique. I'd love to exchange buttons / chat if you're into that. Also, minor suggestion -- the cursive font on your body text is pretty hard to read. Might be a good idea to add a theme switching button so viewers can change the font? Added your button to affiliates on the homepage -- FYI, right now your button marquees are looping before their full length. You'll need to change them to CSS animations if you want them to scroll and have your users see all of them (that also works on more browsers). IDK how to do that vertically, but here's a code snippet I used to use for a horizontal pseudo-marquee. https://rentry.co/css_ani_marquee

I'm not an expert on CSS animations, but I *think* that snippet should work if you just change transform X to transform Y and replace vw with vh.

Testing if I could fit a super-compressed backup on Nekoweb without paying just in case. I don't plan to leave for the time being because I like the socials here, but it'd be nice to have the option. (right now, I leave OC art basically uncompressed since it's also an archive for me.)

The main thing that concerns me about Nekoweb is having less space. Also, I don't like their editor (and I can't use WebDAV well on Mint) or their focus on Discord. If you're trying to do indie website shit and only communicate on Discord, you're missing the point. But it'd be nice to know if that works, so I need to compress all my files as much as possible to test.

I also find Nekoweb to be overly "cutesy" and gimmicky, which doesn't resonate with me, but it is an option if I can get the site below 550 mb (doubtful). I'd rather not subscribe to it since I detest groupchats so it doesn't have the social components I like from -cities.

okay, I still find Nekoweb overly cutesy and gimmicky and don't like their reliance on Discord, but I did figure out how to fix the most annoying part of their editor (the overzealous autocomplete popups that try to fill in every word you write -- really annoying for creative writing pages or anything with natural English in it) -- in a userstyle, set .ace_editor.ace_autocomplete to display: none.

yoo everybody look at the new homepage I love it so much especially the quick-link GIFs. feels like me in a way the old one didn't anymore (feel like I have more freedom with the landing page) and also I think cleaner and more modern. learned how to use the details tag and css grids also > https://draggianuniverse.neocities.org/home < new pagedoll forthcoming with combo human and snake action!

scrolled through nitter and pokeminers discord for the first time in a year; literally the only new team leader stuff is hyper training and striking shadow texts but those have been added to the archives. if the team leaders don't get to participate in their own 10th anniversary i'm gonna fuckin lose it they have not been in anni art since *2022*.
