this is a random question, but i’m sort of curious— how do you update your website so consistently? do you make an effort to open the site often? do you write down your notes somewhere else throughout the day and then transfer them at some point?

This is probably the least consistent I’ve been in updating my site, but I try to treat myself with grace. I would say that it’s not necessarily effortful on my part, but rather that I have difficulty finding the time because I am inundated with school, work, etc.

I truly treat this site as my diary and I love to write, so it is that simple. If you are asking for advice, I would recommend widening the net used to catch your thoughts. My site has a diary, a calendar, my buttons & observations pages, all of which are semi-daily. Though ideally I would update all of them each day, because I have cast my net so wide I manage to catch at least a few thoughts in a page or two a day,

if that makes sense. As for actual logistics, no, I don’t write elsewhere & transfer my writing. I tend to write in a word document & immediately transfer it to my site. Very occasionally if I feel I’ve had an important thought or realization, I’ll write a single phrase or two for the sake of remembering it to write about later.

I tend to do all of my writing in the evening simply because I have no time otherwise. I also don’t have any difficult code to deal with on my writing pages as that’s only an obstacle. I hope I answered your questions well ꩜ .ᐟ The simple answer is that writing is the only thing in my life that holds consistent meaning.

that totally makes sense ! i find that i always have thoughts floating in my head that i want to write down, and then often fail to either due to feeling obligated to do xyz schoolwork First or just plan executive dysfunction. thank you sm for your answer :] it's really cool to learn more abt the way you engage with your site ! i love that you can treat your site like a diary-- i hope to be able to do the same
