I was trying to get Linux Mint to work the last weeks, but it just didn't go. Some version of Ubuntu worked instantly though and I've been playing around with it for a bit. Made it look like XP a little, made it look like WIN95 for a sec. Hesitant to change my desktop to it for now though.

Is your computer brand new? Maybe the kernel version of the latest Linux Mint doesn't has drivers for all your hardware. Ubuntu launched a new version recently, 25.04, with newer kernel.
