I made it using a website designer program; RocketCake. I still have to reverse engineer the HTML in it for myself, but you're free to check the code yourself or save a copy to tool around with!

I realize you need these 2 pages to help make sense of the gallery page! https://virtually-isolated.neocities.org/rc_images/wsp_gallery.js

I was able to get the css and js links via the src things for the style element in the head tag, and the script tag respectively, also i was able to clean up and make the gallery code more comprehensible, yippee!

Icons for some of the subsites, new one for Virtually Isolated itself. This was also yesterdays update, but the webcomic page is only missing like 2 pictures and it'll be 'complete enough' ! Merged Links and Tools into 1 thing. Got rid of the Misc page and put a Characters one online. Mostly created characters from games because a bunch of others like my tabletop or my FF14 one have or will get their own subsites!

That's so cool! There's something very pretty about the minimalist blue vibe you got going on! Happy to help inspire!

Thanks! I wanted to make it look like it was made using a blue ballpoint pen, but the vectoryness makes it kinda look weird in that context, ill prbly make another design while im procrastinating on fixing the styling of my webpages, lol. Sorry if this is a bit long, i can get a bit rambly and long-winded at times.

Thank you! I use a super old method that most web developers and designers hate me for! I use old Dreamweaver and Photoshop to edit old Windows elements or other boxes from games for the other subsites. I can just kinda slap pictures all over the place, put it in a div layer or a table. Slap text over it and some more! All the art is either commissioned or gifted. I can barely hold a pencil myself!

I love the feel and look of your layout so far! Thank you for adding my button, too! The 404 page made me giggle a little. I'm not sure how to help making an IBM styled page though. My best guess is to just mess with the colours of the background & text and see what you can make it look like. Putting a base down with that, maybe some delightful ASCII art as a placeholder and an entry might already help shape ideas.

Another quick thought is to check the 'retro' tags when looking for sites and see if you can get inspiration or a small guide there. Maybe you can find some one who seems approachable and ask them how they did theirs.

Mini guide on curating online spaces with adblockers and cracking apps for sorta-beginners!
cool! (jsyk your radical garden link is broken)
Oh! Good catch! Fixed!
That's pretty cool!
Thank you!
You're welcome! :3
the radical garden isn't radical at all???
It's adressed in the about page! "So with a name like "radical" you might have expected to find something rather more extremist than what I have here. But "radical" doesn't only mean someone with extremist views. It also refers to growing from a root. I'm hoping that you can use the information here to sprout some actions that might make you feel less alone, more positive and better informed."
