My website design is somewhere in between 'Frutiger Aero' and 'The original IBM PC' and I need to smooth it out.
HOW DO YOU PEOPLE EVEN BEGIN TO MAKE THIS STUFF????? Seriously though, this is awesome! Nice design, well done theming, TONS of stuff to look at... Jeez, I will probably never have the focus to do even just the CSS to make something even close to this in actual good design.
What style should my 'photos' page be? Styled like an old camcorder? Styled like my main page? I have genuinely no idea what to do, so if you see this, let me know.

Does anyone know how to make an IBM PC style / text based UI? If you do, let me know!
Thank you! I use a super old method that most web developers and designers hate me for! I use old Dreamweaver and Photoshop to edit old Windows elements or other boxes from games for the other subsites. I can just kinda slap pictures all over the place, put it in a div layer or a table. Slap text over it and some more! All the art is either commissioned or gifted. I can barely hold a pencil myself!
I love the feel and look of your layout so far! Thank you for adding my button, too! The 404 page made me giggle a little. I'm not sure how to help making an IBM styled page though. My best guess is to just mess with the colours of the background & text and see what you can make it look like. Putting a base down with that, maybe some delightful ASCII art as a placeholder and an entry might already help shape ideas.
Another quick thought is to check the 'retro' tags when looking for sites and see if you can get inspiration or a small guide there. Maybe you can find some one who seems approachable and ask them how they did theirs.
