for a shorter game, i really enjoyed Gone Home. it takes place during a dark and stormy night but isn't horror. it also gets points in my book for having real northwestern riot grrl songs available to listen to on in-game cassette tapes

since you liked coffee talk you will probably enjoy va11halla, it's a similar concept just in a cyberpunk city instead!

bad end theater is pretty quick, but fun!
