apparently neocities has stopped showing site updates in the home feed, so i'll just post to let y'all know that i'm still alive, just got kinda busy

yeah it feels a bit empty now, also i think likes are disabled on all site updates too?
yeah trying to like a site update doesn't result in anything anymore. wth
oh shit they did huh. I can see em doin it so people can have better hidden Secret pages but maybe that shoulda been togglable
Social media site owners are cursed with an insatiable need to make updates nobody asked for that make the experience worse
It's not permanant, somebody broke something on the backend. I believe they're working on a patch already: https://github.com/neocities/neocities/commit/68e1e2fed2fe36e96ea1d2175af3f452f618b323
suspect it's more of a bug than intentional :) people behind projects like this are still humans who make mistakes! ^^ don't forget there's one person behind neocities, and maybe extend some benefit of the doubt rather than assuming malice!
